Terms and Conditions

The usual service region of ImPuls, for which travel costs are included in the massage rate, covers 20 kilometers starting from the company location Innsbruck/Thaur. This distance may vary in the case of simultaneous appointments for multiple clients or horses. A prior agreement is required for this.
Travel to more distant locations is also possible by prior arrangement. The travel expenses will then depend on the number of horses serviced and will be agreed upon in advance.
Only 100% healthy horses are permitted for bodywork and energy work through ImPuls. In some cases, prior veterinary clarification may be necessary.
The owner is obligated to disclose all previous health problems, whether illnesses or injuries, of the horse in question in order to enable ImPuls Methode to make an informed decision as to whether the desired appointment is appropriate and/or prior veterinary clarification is necessary.
The services offered by the ImPuls Method do not in any way replace treatment by a veterinarian. The services provided by the ImPuls Method are to be understood as complementary services. Veterinary care or consultation remains necessary if needed.
The ImPuls Method will never make a diagnosis. By law, diagnoses of any kind may only be made by a veterinarian.
If further services are necessary and desired following a veterinary examination and diagnosis, ImPuls Methode can offer them under certain conditions. ImPuls Methode possesses the necessary qualifications and experience to offer physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatments under veterinary supervision and upon the explicit instruction of the veterinarian. However, it must be noted that these services can only be offered in cooperation with a veterinarian and are subject to certain legal regulations. All necessary details are clarified in advance with the owner and the veterinarian.
Cancellation policy: Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be billed in full, unless it is a veterinary emergency. If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment and do not notify us in advance, the appointment will not be carried out by Adrienne Tomkinson. In this case, the full cost of the appointment, including any travel expenses, will be billed.

Bodywork courses

Registration

Registration must be done in writing using the registration form, which will be sent by email. Please fill it out and return it by email. Upon receipt, we will send a confirmation email; with this, participation is binding and legally valid for the duration of the course.

The entire course fee is payable in advance, unless a different written agreement has been made previously with Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode. Upon receipt of payment, the registration is final.

Cancellation

Course participation can be canceled under the following conditions: The cancellation must be in writing. If canceled up to 20 calendar days before the start of the course, the entire course fee will be refunded. If the cancellation occurs within the last 20 calendar days before the start of the course, a cancellation fee of 50% of the course fee must be paid. From the first day of the course onwards, cancellations are no longer accepted; the course fee must be paid in full at 100%. This also applies if the registered participant is absent from the course or parts of it, or is unable to attend for any reason whatsoever. (This also applies to absence due to illness, travel issues to the venue, or other hindrances due to force majeure). After the start of the course, no refunds or the like will be granted if the participant cancels the course or is absent. The date on which the written cancellation is received by Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode shall apply.

Unforeseen absence of the instructor: Should the instructor be unable to attend for any reason, Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPulse Method is obligated to offer an alternative date. This will be announced to the participants in a timely manner. Any further claims for damages are excluded.

Exam

To be admitted to the final exam of the bodywork course, participants must have attended at least 80% of the course and workshops. If failed, the exam can be retaken once. The retake exam can be taken at the earliest 3 months after the actual exam date and has a one-time fee of € 240 (incl. VAT).

Modification of Content and Disclaimer

Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode reserves the right to further develop technical content and to make minor adjustments to the duration of the event. In this case, Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode will endeavor to announce any necessary changes to the program in a timely manner. A change of instructor or a change of venue does not entitle the participant to withdraw from the contract.
A claim for damages against Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode is excluded unless she, her employees, or vicarious agents can be accused of intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Participants are required to have their own insurance (accident and/or liability insurance that covers any claims in this area of the training) by the first day of the course at the latest, which is valid at least up to and including the day of the exam.

The created content, images, and texts of this course, the PowerPoint presentation, and the handout are subject to Austrian copyright law. The reproduction, adaptation, distribution, and any kind of exploitation of the entire content or even of individual parts require the explicit, written consent of the publisher ImPuls Methode (Adrienne Tomkinson).

Privacy Policy

The participant consents to the automated processing and handling of personal data for the purpose of course administration. Furthermore, unless objected to in writing, Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode may use personal data to provide future information regarding new course offerings and similar updates.

Other

Individuals who appear in photo or film recordings taken during the events revocably consent to their depiction on the website http://impulsmethode.at, provided they are not shown in any humiliating, degrading, or otherwise personality-violating manner.

Accommodation and meals are not included in the course fees.

Final Provisions and Severability Clause

If any provision in these terms and conditions or within the framework of other agreements is or becomes invalid, the validity of all other provisions or agreements shall not be affected thereby.
In the event that individual clauses of these terms are invalid, the validity of the agreement as a whole remains unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the statutory one.

Day course and online course

Registration

Course registration must be made in writing; emails are accepted. Registration only becomes binding upon receipt of payment.
Payment of the entire course fee must be made in advance, unless a prior agreement has been made with Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode. This requires written form. Upon confirmation of receipt of payment, the registered participant is bindingly registered for the entire duration of the course and accepted into the course. This applies to participants with a horse as well as participants without a horse.

Cancellation

Course participation can be cancelled under the following conditions: Cancellation must be made in writing.
The cancellation scale is as follows:
up to 7 calendar days before the start of the course – the full amount will be refunded
up to 5 calendar days before the start of the course – 80 % will be refunded
Up to 2 calendar days before the course begins – 50 % will be refunded
For cancellations the day before or on the day of the course itself, the full course fee is due and no refund will be issued.
This also applies if the registered participant is absent from the course or parts thereof or is unable to attend for any reason (this also applies to absence due to illness, problems traveling to the venue, technical problems, or other prevention due to force majeure). The date on which the written cancellation is received by Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode shall apply.

Unforeseen absence of the teacher: Should the teacher be unable to attend for any reason whatsoever, Adrienne Tomkinson/Impulse Methode is obligated to offer a voucher for another course or a value voucher from Adrienne Tomkinson/ImPuls Methode. A make-up date will be announced to the participants in a timely manner, if applicable. Any further claims for damages are excluded.
The minimum number of participants for the courses is 5 people. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode is entitled to reschedule or cancel the event. In this case, Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode will notify the participants in writing. Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode shall be held harmless and indemnified against any expenses incurred by the participants as a result of the cancellation. The participants then have the option to register for another equivalent course (day) or to receive the equivalent value of the course fee already paid in the form of a voucher from Adrienne Tomkinson / ImPuls Methode.
